The New Tribe

Helaka's maw gaped as she yawned and stretched, her claws scraping across the ground as her back arched high up in the air.
Once she had finished stretching, she looked around sadly at the empty clearing.
"Recreating this tribe is going to be....Difficult," she mewed to her self, her violet eyes gazing up at the sky as the sun set.
"They'll be out soon..." She murmured, her expression dark.

Felix climbs out of his tree looking for food.Soon he finds a rabbit near a bush.Felix sneaks behind it and then pounces on the rabbit.He claws the rabbit and then carries it to his tree.

Helaka walked towards the entrance of the tribe clearing, ready to block it off. She knew it wouldn't help keep them out, but it always gave her the false security that she yearned.
She paused before pushing the plants over the entrance, because her sharp nose had caught the scent of another feline, and food.

Felix starts to climb up the tree but,then he smelled another feline. He started to go towards the scent.

ic: Helaka followed the scent, and not too far from her home, she spotted a grey tom, and she tilted her head, curious as to why anyone would be crazy enough to stay out this late.
"What are you doing?" She demanded, her eyes narrowed. "You'll get eaten alive at this rate."
Her tail lashed back and forth, and she looked as if she were scolding a child.

Felix looks at the other cat.Doesn't say a thing.Felix slowly mutters "Who are you?.Felix walks up to the other feline.

Helaka blinked and frowned.
"What does it matter? State your name first, cat," she said, her voice demanding, as if she had been giving orders her whole life. Who was to say she hadn't?
After a short pause, she would ignore whatever answer was to come and she turned around, swishing her tail at him as she started to walk away.
"I am Helaka (pronounced Heel-ah-kuh), leader of the tribe of this forest. Well, what's left of it anyway. You'd best get to safety before they come."

"My name is Felix.Where is this tribe hmm?Felix was surprised that she wasn't attacking him."

ooc: LOL third person talking xD I'll ignore that.

ic: Helaka frowned, and her lavender eyes grew dull. "Dead."
Her response was short, and she continued on her way, resuming her ignorance of him.

Felix follows the strange cat"I have not met an cat in a while."Felix trots along as his rabbit at the tree rots and is covered in flies and other bugs.

ooc: Rabbits don't rot within minutes, either. -_-

ic: "Why, you blind?" Helaka muttered, wondering why he was following her.
She returned to the clearing of the tribe, to find that he was still there.
With a shrug, she covered the entrance as she had planned to do in the first place before the interruption, and she sat down on the ground, her tail curled over her paws as she watched the sun set.
"If you're going to stick around, stand watch," she said, giving him a glare.

Felix walked beside Helaka "Why are you alone here?" Felix sat down 2 feet away from her making sure she doesn't attack him.Is confused why she thinks she is incharge when nobody is around to obey.

Helaka was silent for a moment, but finally replied with, "Did you not hear me the first time? The others are dead.
Died off a long time ago. I've been living here for a while," she trailed off and tilted her head.
"Do you want to join?" She said abruptly, glancing at him.

Felix was surprised that she asked him to join"Well why not.I mean your all alone.

ic: Helaka's face brightened for a brief second. Maybe the tribe wasn't done for after all? She just needed to find some more members.
She quickly masked her good mood with her usual 'serious face' and nodded, then she wheeled around and stepped into her den.
